*  World Heritage Sites: Neolithic Village, Tombs of the Kings at Paphos, 9 Byzantine churches and a monastery in the Troodos Mountains
*  Greek mythology: the birthplace of Aphrodite and Adonis. Rock of Aphrodite, Paphos.
Traditional crafts: *  embroidery, pottery, copperwork.
Music: *  folk music influenced by instruments and styles from round the Mediterranean
Sport: *  football is the most popular spectator sport
Cuisine: *  Halloumi cheese, seafood, mezze appetisers.
Education: *  Cyprus is one of the top three spenders on education in the EU. Many Cypriots study Higher Education outside of Cyprus.
